Angie @ Many Little Blessings´s last blog ..Top Ten Things I Have Been Thinking Of Lately
I’m not writing the blogs, but I’ll give you a couple of tips/points about a few of your items!
3. Best Chicken Recipes on the Internet: Try these:

4. The Best Educational Toddler Toys for Boys: Your little guy is only a few months younger than ours (ours will be 2 April 14). He’s really gotten into Little People type things lately. It’s not “educational” in terms of colors, shapes, etc. but I think it is very productive play. I like role-playing, imaginative type play for toddlers. He will entertain himself for a relatively long period of time making the people walk around and talking for them etc. He has a big bin of people and animals – Little People, In the Night Garden figures, farm animals, dinosaurs, etc. My niece passed along this house to him and he LOVES it.

He also loves playing with my nieces dollhouse and the dollhouse at playgroup. For his birthday, we had my Mom buy him this:
http://www.toysrus.ca/product/index.jsp?productId=3361867
He is going to go nuts for it! His favorite thing in the dollhouses is making people go up and down stairs, so this will be great for him. It does say 3 and up, so we will go through it first and pack away some of the smaller pieces.
We also bought him a toy kitchen a while ago, and are getting him some new pots and the Melissa and Doug cutting food set for his birthday – he is always making us breakfast, tea, etc.

Now that it’s getting nicer out, he loves playing with dirt and rocks. He likes shovels, his dump trucks/tractors, etc. and will play a long time with that stuff.
Finally, he likes things like blocks and puzzles, which I also think are educational. He has these blocks from when he was a baby that he still plays with:

And got these for Christmas:

And he also got these for Christmas:

10. Best Way to Sort and Organize Digital Photos: One word – Picasa! I created folders on my computer for every year, and every year has a month. I use Picasa to import the photos into the correct month, and then you chose the hierarchical folder view in Picasa. Along the side you see every year, and can click to expand it to see the months. It’s so easy to click through and view your photos, and if you like, you can put videos right in with the photos instead of having a separate system for them. You can also star photos, tag people, and make albums, so you can keep everything sorted by month but still have separate albums. You can also do basic edits like red-eye reduction, cropping, choosing a new start/end point for a video etc. – when you save your changes, Picasa saves a back-up of the originals in a folder it creates within the folder called Picasa. You don’t actually see this folder in Picasa so it doesn’t clutter things up, but you can go through Windows to get to the originals if you need them.

I’m not sure that I have the time to volunteer either, but I would LOVE to see these posts too:)
Hmmm… for #6 I recommend Going Rogue by Sarah Palin, The Shadow of the Wind, The Guernsey Literary and Potato Peel Pie Society, The Thirteeth Tale, and The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo (and the other 2 in the series as well). I have heard rave reviews of The Help and it is in my stack to read. The Mitford series by Jan Karon is excellent too!

I’m such a book freak…but unfortunately it has taken a backseat. I got the Palin book for Christmas, but haven’t started it yet! Good to know it’ll be worth the read!

I’d love to read a post on how to keep little boys on the ground (and not standing on the chest freezer or dining room table)!

I’d like to see one on ending preschooler tantrums. I’m seriously over the screaming meltdowns.
I’d be interested to see the organizing online pictures one, too. Right now, I rely on iPhoto, a back up drive, and Shutterfly.

Toddler meltdowns are exhausting. Sometimes I want to whine back at him just show him how annoying it can be
hahah!
